Local pour · checked 2026-09-03
Tampa drinks like a Spanish colony that grew up on 7th Avenue. The local pour is sangria and tapas, then a Cuban-accented cocktail. Both halves have a street: tapas lean South Howard and Bay to Bay, the Cuban pour leans 7th Avenue in Ybor — and the Channelside rooms watch the water while you drink.
SoHo pours Spanish

7th Avenue does it Cuban
Ybor City is where this city's food was born: the Cuban sandwich was born in Ybor City in the early 1900s, created by the immigrants who made Ybor home, per Visit Tampa Bay — and the avenue still pours to match. Acropolis Greek Taverna Ybor City at 1833 E 7th Ave posts Happy Hour Monday through Friday 3pm–7pm: $5 single calls, 50% off select appetizers, $3.50 domestics, $4.50 imports, with 2-for-1 sangrias all day, every day. Down the avenue, Bernini of Ybor at 1702 E. 7th Ave posts $4 SKYY martinis everyday from 11:30am until 7pm, and 50% off pasta and entrées from 4:00–7:00pm daily.
